1st day Basics of vibration Gain a basic knowledge about vibration of rotating machines like natural vibration frequency, critical speed, and so on through lectures using CAI tool and phenomena observation using model rotor.
Vibration measurement 亂Practical training亃 Acquire measuring skills through practical vibration measurement by means of portable vibration meter and IRD.
2nd day Factors/solutions of vibration Use model rotor to observe phenomena and study factors causing vibration and their solutions such as unbalance vibration, contact vibration, and so on. Also learn about impacts of vibration on equipment by observing turbine sectional models.
3rd day Vibration balancing 亂Practical training亃 Study performance vector method, one of vibration balancing methods through practical balancing with model rotor.
