Steam turbine open inspection training

You will be encouraged to do open inspection of steam turbine with your own hands.
 ・To learn about mechanisms/functions of steam turbine in an easy-to-understand way through disassembling/assembling turbine.
 ・To understand work procedures of turbine disassembling/inspection/assembling and turbine setting procedure.
 ・To know safety points in handling heavy goods and acquire QC skills in managing key facilities.

KYT (Risk prediction training) before practical training Acquire ST disassembling/assembling skills
 
Curriculum
Schedule Subjects Contents
1st day Outline of turbine To learn about structures/features/functions of various parts of turbine while making clear the differences of different manufacturers (GE/WH).
Disassembling/inspection/
assembling/adjustment of turbine
【Practical training】
To obtain knowledge/expertise about work activities, work points, risk factors, and solutions for each work item.
2nd day To obtain knowledge and skills necessary for maintenance management by studying turbine structures and principles through practical disassembling/assembling of turbine.
3rd day To know control criteria and design values and acquire enough knowledge to make judgment based on inspection and measurement results.
4th day To obtain knowledge/expertise through experience about the needs, procedures, solutions when exceeding standard values, etc. for different adjustments.
